Ajay’s experience spans 3 decades in the oil, gas, mining and power industry in over 20 countries globally. He has led several public listings, fundraisings, private equity and debt transactions. In addition, he has led and supported M&A and disputes/arbitration transactions for large to midsize companies. Ajay has held directorships in listed companies.

An avid reader, traveller, singer and wannabe golfer, Ajay also devotes time to volunteering and fundraising for charities addressing poverty, social injustice, homelessness and mental health.

He holds a Bachelor in Chem Engineering from UCL and is a Chartered Accountant from the ICAEW and prior to starting Jiva with in 2008 has held senior positions in Vedanta Resources, EY and PwC.

Pooja has over 20 years of experience working in the natural resources and energy/power sector in India and Africa principally. In her in-house and advisory roles she has worked on investor relations and corporate finance projects involving UK listed companies (FTSE, AIM), Bonds, Private equity and debt raising including special situations. She has sound experience in cross border transactions in the areas of structuring, due-diligence and financial modelling.

She is the co-founder of Vidyapath, a UK based charity supporting education and works closely and cultural platforms in UK to promote India art and culture.

Pooja is a qualified Chartered Accountant from India and an MBA from Cass Business School, UK. She holds a Bachelors in Commerce from University of Mumbai. Prior to starting Jiva in 2008, she has worked at Vedanta Resources, PwC and Anand Rathi Advisors.
